Since January 2015 BUKO Infrasupport has been certified for ISO 14001 and the CO2 Performance ladder. ISO 14001 is an environmental management system, and the CO2 Performance ladder promotes the reduction of our CO2 emissions.
BUKO Infrasupport attaches great importance to sustainability. In order to measure and report our CO2 emissions, BUKO Infrasupport has been working with the scopes defined in the CO2 Performance ladder handbook. Scopes 1, 2 and 3 all apply to BUKO Infrasupport.
Scope 1
This relates to the emissions created by fuels that we buy and consume ourselves. At BUKO Infrasupport these are mainly natural gas, diesel and petrol.
Scope 2
This relates to emissions created as a result of our electricity consumption, including for heating our business premises and charging our batteries (for example the electric forklift trucks, action and sign vehicles).
Scope 3
This relates to the emissions created across the entire life-cycle of the products that we lease and sell. At BUKO Infrasupport these are mainly bought-in goods and services, commuting and business waste disposal.
Our CO2 footprint is based on the emissions within these three scopes. The footprint provides a full overview of what creates our CO2 emissions and what are the main sources of these emissions. With the help of the footprint we publish six-monthly reviews of our emissions.
Reports
Several times each year BUKO Infrasupport publishes a review of our CO2 consumption. All the reports can be found in the archive below. (in Dutch)
